Tuesday through Friday - escape to a B&B in Estes Park.
Short, but cleverly planned so that I miss most of the prep for my missionary housemate's going away party, which is Saturday. I come back Friday, have a thing Friday night, work on Saturday, have two things on Sunday, and have Monday off. Except for art class. Crazy. I do almost nothing for months on end and then cram everything into 7 days. I'll need another vacation to recover.

I feel like most people need a vacation from their vacation. Traveling is exhausting, all the stuff you do is exhausting...when I had paid vacation time before going back to school I used to just take those days and sit at home.
Vacation from the vacation is the best vacation of all :) Are you at least going to be doing relaxing things while there???

i want vacation...paid vacation by myself with no people around except in my computer. about 2 weeks would do it. aaahhhh, to dream!
